Ocean Engineering Projection in Columbia

Colombia is a priviliged country as it has coasts over two oceans. It has a great marine potential, still unexploited, which should be included among the national development programs. For that reason, the Colombian Government has started the implementation of mechanisms to achieve that objective, although Ocean Engineering has scarcely taken into consideration regardless the great help it might offer in this field. In the present article we want to let be known, as well as to mention some possible ways to involve this Engineering and some of its applications for the development of the seas in Colombia.
