Abstract :
This paper introduces a shunt FACTS device for tapping and realizing power flow control in half-wavelength transmission lines. It is design to drain or inject power in the line, like a shunt HVAC Tap, as well as acts as a shunt FACTS device to control the main power flow through the half wavelength transmission line.
