Abstract :
This paper explores the nature of "Science of Man\´s Environment" through a twelve (12) Chapter publication that presents the Universe in terms of science principles and applications. The publication represents 25 years of professional and technical research, lecture compilations, and teaching experience. Neither Ocean Science, Marine Science Technology, nor the sciences in general are subjects pursued as relevant by today\´s youth. They have a perception that science is difficult, and that it has little or no value to them in their choice of careers. They view the sciences as having no influence in their daily lives, and programs of study in the schools have done little to change this view. This paper presents the methodology by which students have been motivated to seek courses of study in the sciences, either as a career choice or as an elective, because of their interest.
