Abstract :
Alloy ingots of Fe2VAl1-xInx (x=0-0.2) were prepared with high-purity elemental constitutes using an arc-melting furnace under argon atmosphere. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and magnetization measurements (M-H plots and field cooled /zero field cooled curves) have been used for characterizing the samples. The magnetic susceptibility and spontaneous magnetisation was determined and it increases as the In concentration increases. The magnetic transition temperatures were studied using modified Arrott-plots.
