Abstract :
A Novel patch array antenna system, suitable for wireless access point applications in the WLAN 2.4 GHz and WiMAX3.4GHz bands is presented. The design is based upon an idea that was presented during my previous paper by using a circular patch-shaped radiator instead of an elliptical patch-shaped. This new type of array also ensures a stable impedance bandwidth performance in two radiating modes with or without reflector, through 2.4-2.485 GHz WLAN and 3.4-3.6GHz WiMAX bands, with return loss level below -10 dB.
