Abstract :
In this paper, a new fuzzy logic control scheme is proposed. A salient feature of the proposed scheme is that it has one input which is a linear combination of three signals. This approach leads to a logic control scheme which requires a minimal number of linguistic control rules. Furthermore, the proposed scheme is in fact a nonlinear PID controller which is suitable for enhancing system performance. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed scheme is readily realizable and is effective for enhancing the overall performance of a multimachine power system and a DC servomotor
