Abstract
To estimate the transmission performance of microcellular mobile communications in the microwave band, the propagation loss characteristics and the distribution for fast fading are investigated using measured data. Measurements are performed using three frequencies and four transmission antenna heights. Influences on propagation are observed, owing to the use of a higher frequency than the UHF band. Extremely high propagation loss for the non-line-of-sight region is especially observed
