Abstract :
In this work, we compute the temperature rise of the BSCC heart valve when exposed to the magnetic fields such as those generated by the EMAT setup. We show that it is possible to comply with standards both by regulating the duty cycle of the tone-burst-excitation scheme and synchronizing the excitation with the cardiac cycle appropriately.
