Abstract
The paper analyses existing business models and popular simulation modeling tools. Authors discuss the model, based on multi-agent resource conversion processes, which has been designed by themselves earlier, a model, based on integration of situational, imitation and expert modeling, designed for printing industry processes formalization, and the model of active and passive converters. Next the paper presents the comparison by features, which reveals that none of the present tools allow web-based service orientation, and only one has support for cloud computing. Since service orientation and cloud calculations are among the popular trends nowadays, authors found it a challenging task to start working on web-based simulation modeling service, which is discussed in this paper. The paper concludes with description of the service prototype. Service development is under current research of the authors.
