Abstract :
In wireless systems polarization diversity can be utilized for higher channel capacities by employing a polarization switching antenna. In this work a novel design for circular polarization switching microstrip antenna using optical control has been investigated. Stubs are loaded on the patch dynamically via photo-conducting gap to switch between RH and LH polarization.
