Abstract :
A broadband patch antenna on a defected ground is proposed. The defects are created by introducing conjugate omega shaped slots arranged in an array in the ground plane. An impedance bandwidth of 13.47% is obtained. Also, at the end a proposal to model such antenna using transmission line model is proposed.
