Abstract :
This paper studies security and anti-interference mechanisms in the scenario of multiple WPANs (wireless personal area network) accessing into a HAN (home area network). The WPAN ID authentication is defined to prevent personal devices of non-HAN members from accessing into the WPAN. Different WPANs can be distinguished by allocating different UDS (universal device sequences) to different APs (access point). MAC-level coordination solution in AP is applied so that multiple wireless communication protocols can coexist within a WPAN. Furthermore, by exploiting the cyclostationarity of most modulated signals, the FRESH (frequency-shift) filter is presented to make WPAN devices be able to extract wanted signals from interference with partly overlapped spectrum. From the simulation result, we can conclude that the FRESH filter has excellent anti-interference performance. Finally, a comparison of the FRESH filter model and AFH (adaptive frequency hopping) is given out.
