  • Abstract
    In the paper,particle swarm optimization is introduced to design Dammann gratings. Design a Dammann gratings with 1 15 uniform spot array with the proposed algorithm and genetic algorithm. The performance of the optimization result is compared with genetic algorithm, Experimental results shows that the method gives a significant reduction in computation time to GA method while still get high diffraction efficiency and uniformity error .
