Abstract :
A model for the specification and analysis of telecommunication services for intelligent networks is proposed. The model is called connection-oriented because the state of each entity in the network is decomposed into the number of connections it has with the other entities. The dynamics of the system are described by rule sets which transform connection patterns. The object-oriented knowledge-based KIWIS system has been used to implement the model
