  • Abstract
    This paper described the principle and application of serial communicate interface (SCI) of Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The TMS320LF2407A which is a type of DSPs made by Texas Instruments is taken as an example. Because this chip´s special structure, and used widely in the motor control area. A typical schematic which is designed to describe the process between PC and DSP is provided. The standard of MODBUS protocol which is used widely in our industrial control area is also provided. The code realized this project by the way of interrupting. It can guarantee high effecting and real time of data transfer and no consume of the circle of CPU. It can also provide the reference of communication between touch screen and frequency converter in industrial control area.
