Abstract :
The analysis of aggregation characteristics of streaming media traffic provides a scientific basis for the general plan of Next Generation Broadcasting network. Based on the method of simulation, the streaming media traffic characteristics, self-similarity and aggregation delay time are discussed with different load scales and source processing strategies. The result shows that delay time of the aggregation processing is improved, because of the source classification strategy. And with the increasing of the aggregation scale self-similarity of the traffic has been weakened.
