Abstract :
Numerical and fabrication investigations of gold nanoring finite arrays are presented. Surface plasmon resonances are computed using the method of moment surface integral equation. The nanoring arrays are fabrication via electron beam lithography templating and electroless gold plating. The results show the change of surface plasmons resonances, to larger wavelengths, when the nanoring thickness decreases. Also, the array size and the separation distance factors influence the amplitude of the extinction coefficients along with the resonance wavelength.
