Abstract :
Data analysis of samples of materials, of relevance to ITER and DEMO reactors, that mere previously irradiated at TFTR in mixed D-T and D-D neutron field, is in progress. The measured experimental database of saturation activities covers aluminum, silicon, titanium, vanadium, chromium, manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, zirconium, niobium, molybdenum, indium, silver, europium, terbium, hafnium, tungsten, rhenium, gold, 316 stainless steel, a vanadium-chromium-titanium alloy, a manganese-copper alloy, inconel 625, and inconel 718. In addition, first-time data is being reported for samples of uranium, thorium, thoriated tungsten, potassium bromide, barium, and strontium. This experimental database offers an invaluable resource for benchmarking of calculations in relation to the design and regulatory licensing of large complex fusion reactors, such as ITER
