Abstract :
In designing a power electronic circuit, it is often required to find the regions of the circuit parameters such that the circuit takes an operating mode. This paper describes a general computer method for determining the operating-mode boundaries in power electronics circuits. In general, the conditions of operating-mode boundaries in power electronic circuits are expressed by nonlinear algebraic equations, the solutions of which are curves in parameters space. The operating-mode boundaries are obtained by tracing the solution curves by using the concept of the homotopy continuation method
