An operation mode of manufacturing system for Traditional Chinese Medicine based on equipment integration

Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of China´s gems. While throughout a long period in history, such problems as extensive management, backwardness of equipment and traditional manufacturing mode mostly employed in the process of production were important factors that blocked the development of Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises. Considering the particular features of the production of traditional Chinese medicine and its present situation, this paper proposes a production operating mode of equipment integration and introduces the mode in detail based on an analysis of the correlation of equipment and every links in the whole process of production. The application of this manufacturing mode was tested in a pharmaceutical enterprise in Guizhou Province.
