Abstract :
This paper investigates the relationship between magnetic and mechanical properties of HSLA-100 steels tempered at different temperatures, and the variations of magnetic properties of the materials under tensile deformation. Aging at higher temperatures caused copper precipitates to grow which became pinning sites for domain walls. Coercivity HC decreased with strain at low strain levels for all three samples.
