Abstract :
To demonstrate the fabricability of the FW (first wall)/blanket, a middle-scaled mock-up module was tried to fabricate. The FW was fabricated using a sandwiched tube technique (DSCu plates and stainless steel circular tubes), which are composed of plates of DSCu with 20 mm thickness for heat sink containing cooling tubes oriented poloidally. The FW corresponding to one of inboard modules ( 6 module) is curved in poloidal direction. As for the shielding block, a forged block was machined by drilling from both sides for coolant channels. The FW and the shielding block were assembled together and bonded by a single step of HIP. There were no harmful voids observed at the bonded interface, and the deformation of coolant channels in the shielding block were also negligibly small
