Abstract :
A design of a digital, double integrating filter with dc-rejection is described. The filter is intended for heave measurements sensed by an accelerometer. A sample design of a filter which offers less that 1% of total maximum error for heave with 4 to 30 second periods is presented. The filter settling time is approximately 27 minutes while the sampling period is 0.2 sec.
