  • Abstract
    A new method of the transformation of the beam-shape for the linear array is proposed. This method is based on controlling only the phase excitation. By using this method, the Taylor pattern can be transformed to the Bayliss pattern and the cosecant pattern. Computed results for the Bayliss pattern and the cosecant pattern are presented
