  • Abstract
    In three separate deployments from Fall 1984 through Spring 1985 the Neil Brown Instrument Systems´ (NBIS) Smart Acoustic Current Meters (SACM) were deployed. In the first deployment, part of NOAA´s Delaware Bay Experiment, less than a month of data was returned of approximately eight current meter months of deployment. Hardware problems accounted for most of this poor data return.
