Abstract :
In this paper, an octagonal secondary linear induction motor is designed. The distribution of the magnetic field and the dynamic characteristics of the linear induction motor are studied on the basis of three-dimensional transient finite element analysis. It provides a basis for the optimization of the structure design and material selection of the linear motor.
