Abstract :
In this study, thermomagnetic property and phase relation in the mechanically alloyed Co-Zr material were investigated using a thermomagnetic analysis technique (TMA). Results obtained by the TMA study was related to the coercivity origin of the mechanically alloyed Co-Zr material. It was found that the coercivity origin in the mechanically alloyed Co-Zr materials is due to the presence of the Co5Zr phase.
