  • Abstract
    A diode laser has been frequency stabilised to I/sub 2/-Doppler free absorption signals. Relative frequency stability of 5.10/sup -12/ is reached at an integration time of 100 s. This compact setup provides good possibilities of implementing a portable frequency standard.
