  • Abstract
A method of equalization of an OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplex) signal is described. An OFDM signal is not much affected by multipath distortions when using a guard interval technique. However, the transmission efficiency degrades because it requires a fixed time interval. The improvement of the transmission efficiency, by equalizing the multipath distortion, where the delay time is longer than the guard interval length, is discusse. This method is examined by computer simulations and the characteristics are confirmed
