Title :
The Combination Comptetive Strategy and Its Performance: A Empirical Study from China
Abstract :
Although few empirical studies have specifically compared the impact of combination strategy and pure generic competitive strategy on firm performance, they failed to distinguish between combination strategy and "stuck in the middle" and operationalized the combination strategy as "stuck in the middle". This study distinguishes successfully a combination strategy from stuck in the middle strategy, and extends previous research on the relationship of competitive strategy and performance with the data in China. The study demonstrates that a combination strategy is best strategy that firms should implement in transition economies.
