Abstract :
Presents a full-wave analysis of antenna radiation in a rectangular waveguide with discontinuity in the z direction. A basic formulation of electromagnetic fields and waves in such a waveguide is given in terms of dyadic Green´s functions in different regions separated by a filled medium. The dyadic Green´s functions for different regions of the waveguide due to a source located in the waveguide are constructed and their coefficients are obtained by making use of the boundary conditions. Furthermore, the fields due to a dipole in the waveguide are calculated
