Abstract
The paper introduces a kind of infrared temperature sensor having wide measure range and stable readings which is developed based on thermopile detector TPS334 and PGA309. The principle of PGA309 signal amplification, ambient temperature compensation and nonlinearity correction is discussed, and the relevant circuit and compensation algorithm are given. The sensor has accuracy up to 3 Celsius degree in the temperature range of 600 to 1800 Celsius degree by the standard blackbody furnacepsilas calibration and test. The implementation of this sensor also takes a reference to other sensorpsilas design.
