Abstract :
Baseline is a very important parameter in SAR interferometry (InSAR) processing and applications. It impact generation and quality of DEM from interferogram. Although a variety of baseline estimation methods are reported in the literature, to our knowledge, a systematical comparison on such methods is still unavailable. In this paper, some representative methods of baseline estimation are compared and their advantages and disadvantages are assessed and outlined. The comparison is carried out with ERS-1/2 tandem data over the Jingjiang area of China.
