Abstract :
The AC-DC transfer difference of a single-junction thermal converter can be evaluated with an uncertainty of the order of 0.1 ppm using a fast-reversed DC source. At this level of uncertainty the dependence of the AC-DC voltage transfer difference on the value of the range resistor has been measured. It is shown that the Seebeck effect in the heater/heater support lead junction is responsible for this behavior.
