Abstract
Knowledge and innovation play an increasingly vital role in technological advances and the transformation of society, special in new and emerging markets around the world. The main aim of this study is to present the theoretical and practical aspects of effective knowledge management in the new environment of an increasingly competitive and rapid technologically marketplace. The significance of the paper is referred to the conclusions which points out that the adoption and implementation of knowledge management practices on firm innovative and productivity performance are not completely accounted by firm size, industry, research & development (R&D) efforts or other factors, but persist to a sizeable extent after controlling for all these factors
