Abstract :
In some applications it is important to be able to detect if a transaction is completed within a short stipulated time, and to compensate the customer for losses or refund customer fee if the real-time constraint is violated. We call protocols that can detect real-time violation real-time aware protocols. We propose real-time aware protocols for general e-commerce and electronic auction transactions. These protocols are also shown to be secure, atomic, anonymous, private, and low in overhead cost
