Abstract :
In this paper multi-band and broad-band power amplifier design has been studied with the help of frequency transformations on single-band power amplifiers. A 3-band power amplifier at 1 GHz, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz was fabricated on a 0.18 μm CMOS process. Measurements show that the PA has a peak PAE of 30% while delivering an output power of +17.1 dBm at 1 GHz.
