Abstract :
It has been reported that bow-tie antenna can be miniaturized by adding two folded elements to bow-tie antenna. But the antenna has VSWR degradation problem. The degradation is caused by a resonant condition on the folded element. We propose a use of additional elements in order to obtain more wideband bow-tie antenna with folded elements. We can suppress the degradation of VSWR characteristic while the miniaturization is maintained.
