  • Abstract
    This paper is concerned with the management of the large amount of information of large-scale PV systems, a new approach that can monitor the status and detect faults for large-scale PV systems is derived. We first design a new type of photovoltaic (PV) arrays connection, and establish its framework for fault diagnosis. Then , based on the so called "data fusion" technique, we merge the difference information between the measured value and the theoretical value, the measured value and the average value by side respectively, including the electrical information (voltage and current), solar illumination, environmental temperature and the speed of win. A PV cell is used to verify the effectiveness of our proposed method. It shows that our method has high accuracy and reliability for the fault diagnosis system.
