  • Abstract
    We introduce an overlaid microcell/macrocell system (personal communications networks) where call origination and termination are done via separate base stations. We propose an efficient paging scheme and derive a cost evaluation model of the scheme. The paging cost of the proposed system is shown to be about a half of that of ordinary paging system
