Abstract
In this work, we have studied the effect of compensation for oxygen vacancies on the magnetic property in Fe-doped TiO2. For oxygen compensation, niobium (Nb+5) was co-doped with iron (Fe3+), and then the magnetic moment reduced to about half of uncompensated sample. It seems to indicate that the compensated oxygen lead antiferromagnetic coupling to be more enhanced.Magnetic properties were characterized by the vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and Mossbauer spectroscopy and the magnetic hysteresis loops measured at room temperature up to the field of 5 kOe.
