Abstract :
Summary form only given. Quantum entangled state attracts a wide range of interest for potential application in novel communication and computation schemes. We propose the multi-term two-particle entangled state. To generate photon pairs, we made use of a waveguide type nonlinear device fabricated on a 1-cm-long LiNbO/sub 3/ substrate. This device is originally developed for generating blue quasi-phase-matching SHG. The intensity correlation of photon pairs is shown. The width of central peak is about 300 ps determined by the resolution time of detectors, which means the multi-term entanglement could be achieved if the path differences of the interferometer are set over 10 cm.
