Abstract :
Simultaneous broadband extraction of the important material characteristics such as complex permittivity, complex permeability, saturation magnetization and ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) line-width is presented using a grounded coplanar waveguide (GCPWG) configuration. The test structure was chosen as a GCPWG, which supports TEM mode of propagation with low dispersion and is ideal for broadband applications. The method presented is validated using full-wave EM simulation software (Ansoft HFSS 9.2).
