Abstract :
This paper has summarized the history of the development of the state monitoring system of the power transformer and introduced the present situation in research, especially the multifold comparison on different methods to diagnose the trouble in transformer. This paper not only takes the comprehensive analysis on the extant online monitoring equipments, which is based on DGA, and methods of trouble detection including the IEC Three Ratio Codes, but also puts forward a criterion which uses gas production rate to detect the trouble online and illustrates it in both thermal faults and electrical faults. Additionally, this paper also presents the outlook of the intellectualization of the online monitoring of the transformer, puts forward the intelligent monitoring system of power transformers based on the dynamic online DGA data and analyzes the structure and feasibility of this system.
