Abstract :
This article investigates the effects of high pressure hydrogen treatment on the crystal structure transformations of Fe49Pt51 nanoparticles at low temperatures. L10 FePt nanoparticles were subjected to a 10 MPa hydrogen treatment at 400 degC for 4 hours following a high pressure hydrogen annealing. High pressure hydrogen treatment resulted to ordering peaks and peak shifts in the FePt XRD pattern indicating a structural change in the nanoparticles.
