Abstract :
This paper presents our design of a frequency agile beamforming array over a very broad frequency range (2GHz-18GHz). We chose to use an 8 thin wire half-wave (at 5.8GHz) dipole circular array as our antenna array. The array radius is 1.0". Simulation and lab test results for transmitting beamforming are presented to demonstrate the capability of the array system.
