  • Abstract
    The purpose of this paper is to present systemic creative product design methods based on user´s life scenarios. Based on the nature of scenario and user´s needs, combining with design principles and modeling activities in creative design process, this paper presented a solution to discovery user´s needs from scenarios, and transfer these needs to structures, outlined a creative design model and some creative design methods, these methods include scenario building methods, needs/functions discovering methods, structure generating methods and design evaluating methods. By using these methods, a creative product design case was offered. The results indicated that by different scenarios describing and analyzing, designer can discovery different user´s potential needs. These needs can help designers to determine the functions and structures of the product they design.
