  • Abstract
The traditional cooperative diversity could improve the system performance greatly through sharing some single-antenna users´ antennas of the network, but can´t achieve the diversity gain and coding gain at the same time. Accordingly, a novel cooperative diversity scheme based on concatenating channel code and distributed space-time block code (DSTBC) is proposed in this paper to further obtain much more performance gain. And the analytic expressions and numerical results of the single-user capacity, outage probability and bit error rate (BER) for the cooperative transmission over the Rayleigh fading channel are also presented by the theoretical derivation and system simulation. Numerical results show that, even though the interuser channel is noisy, our proposed scheme outgoes the traditional cooperative diversity in terms of system capacity, outage probability and BER.
