Abstract :
The EMTDC model of ±500kV Gao-Zhao HVDC with DC power forth-and-reverse transmission deicing function is firstly introduced, including model parameters, user-defined SIMADYN D module development and HVDC control strategies, then bipole DC power forth-and-reverse transmission theory, deicing function realization and deicing function operation procedure are presented successively, and finally some deep researches and comprehensive analyses of Gao-Zhao HVDC deicing operation are excellently accomplished. Simulation results show that Gao-Zhao HVDC EMTDC model with deicing function performs well with excellent operation dynamic characteristic, reactive power consumption of Gaopo converter station by deicing operation mode is larger than that by normal operation mode, reactive power consumption of Zhaoqing converter station by deicing operation mode is smaller than that by normal operation mode, and AC voltage characteristic harmonic of deicing operation mode is smaller than that of normal operation mode in either Gaopo converter station or Zhaoqing converter station.
