Abstract :
As part of the R&D work for the ITER cryopump system, an investigation has been performed to assess the relevant effects, which may lead to composition changes of the processed gas mixtures. The temperature needed for partial regeneration of the cryopanels (desorption from activated charcoal) is derived. The influence of panel incline on pumping performance is discussed, based on Monte Carlo simulation
